Gimmic for opening ceremony??pliz help..

the theme of the programme will be "unity is our passion".but for the gimmic, it is ok if not follow the theme.opening ceremony will be at night.

~outdoor..not in a hall...

is it possible to release birds at night??from a top of a building with light focus to the birds??

..help me to find contact numbers of any street performer clubs..etc..buskers for example..

any idea will do..

Once, our college gimmic was turning off all the lights all of a sudden while the mc was in the middle of greeting the audience (as if blackout). Let it be totally dark for a minute, and then comes our vip, walking into the hall on the red carpet (which are students, it's an organization party). And I was one of the vip :) Ahh... the good old days...
