when im working on something, at the bottom it says something liek 20mb. does it really take up this much space for one photo that im working with? can anyone clarify this for me? thanks

  1. That volumn in mb is only refer to how much space is taken in the buffer, when you save the pic because there is compression involve(e.g. jpeg and png) and some due to its standard(e.g. gif), the info you got on the screen will be lost, so eventually it will only be a faction of what's show at the status bar. However, it generally give you a idea of how big the resulting pic will be.
