Question:

Gimp photo editing question.?

i dont know what i would call this but i want to make a picture of my face. I want half of my face to be me with my basketball gear on, and the other half to be with my soccer head band etc.. i also have 2 seperate pictures.What would i even call this so i at least know what to google? split imaging maybe?

  2. The faces of the images must be the same size and at the same angle

    1. Open either of the images.

    2. Go to File> Open as Layers and open the other image.

    3. Erase just over half the top layer.

    4. Select the eraser tool with a large fuzzy brush.

    5. On the top layer click at the very top of the image with your cursor centered at the edge of the top layer (what hasn't been erased) just once.

    6. Go to the very bottom with your cursor centered the same and hold shift, then click. This will blend the images together.

    7. Adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, and color levels of either layer accordingly.

    7. Now merge the layers and save the image.
