Ginger Tea gives me a headache, i think, why is that?

  1. Ginger makes the blood vessels dilate so you could be extra sensitive to the effects.  If it gives you a headache, then stop drinking it and use it in other forms.  Cooking, ginger chews, whatever.


  2. Are you sure its related to drinking ginger tea because ginger is supposed to help ease pain, including headaches.

    If you are on blood-thinning medicine, or have had a stroke or have had/have any other bleeding disorder, ask a doctor before taking ginger as it has blood-thinning properties.
