The Bianconeri defender is elated after his team’s victory over A.C Milan in the first-leg of Coppa Italia semi-final.
Juventus defeated A.C Milan by 2-1 in the first-leg of Coppa Italia on Wednesday, February 8. Martin Caceres scored a brace to hand the Turin giants an advantage going into the second-leg. Stephan El-Shaarawy scored the only goal
of the game for the Italian Champions.

away from home.
The defender was impressed with the impact of his new teammates considering the amount of changes made by Antonio Conte.
While talking to his club’s official website, Chiellini commented,
"The team’s performance was the most important aspect of the evening. We changed eight of the 11 that featured against Siena, but everyone played really well. The new players, [Simone] Padoin and Caceres, managed to fit in perfectly.”
The former Fiorentina centre-back has been a regular fixture at the Juventus side since joining them in the summer of 2005. The 27-year-old mentioned that winning such a major match with a completely different set of players reflects
the strength and depth in the Juve squad.
Chiellini mentioned that Coppa Italia was the main focus of his team, elaborating on the subject he added:
"The Coppa Italia is a primary objective, especially when considering the fact that we’re not playing in Europe."
However, Juventus needs to maintain focus and not forget that the tie is not over, as the second-leg of the tie still remains.
The return leg will be played at Juventus Stadium on Wednesday, March 21. The last time the Old Lady won the Coppa Italia was back in 1994-95, when they defeated Parma 3-0 on aggregate. The match was played at the Stadio delle
Alpi, with former Italian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Porrini, scoring his only two goals for the Turin giants.
