Giorgio Chiellini optimistic about Italy’s chances at Euro 2012

Chiellini maintained that Italy have taken a major step towards qualification and they will only have themselves to blame if they throw away that chance.
The Italian defender added, “Now we have to keep working and developing, as this is a good side. This victory is a crucial stepping stone, as we kept a clean sheet and didn’t run many risks, plus at this stage only we can throw away qualification.”
The 26-year old also admitted that Italy and his club Juventus have not had the best of years and this is the time to prove themselves.
