The Juventus defender mentioned that it was a dream to have played in the semi-final against the Germans; however, he stated that the dream is yet to be fulfilled.

was put in severe doubts.

of the Italian, and he made it back to the Italian team in record time.
The Bianconeri defender conceded that playing for the Italian national team in this edition of the European Championship remained a dream. He was not sure whether he would be able to make it back into the squad.
Chiellini went on to state that everyone from the Italian team to all the Italians around the world were living a dream, and they needed to finish this dream on a good note. He went on to state:
“We are certainly living a dream and with us millions of Italians. We want to keep dreaming and make it come true on Sunday. We will enjoy this victory for a few more minutes, but then our thoughts go to the Final.”
Germany brought along with them the confidence of having won 15 matches on the trot, and many suggested that there was great momentum on Die Mannschaft’s side which would stop the Italians in their tracks.
