The former central defender of Fiorentina has gone on to comment on the absence of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
Cesare Prandelli has always been looking to work out the future of the Italian team and has not hesitated in giving chances to youngsters over the expense of proven players. An example can be made of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Di-Natale-c6306, who had not been used by the former
Fiorentina head coach in the two years prior the European Championships of 2012 that were held in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032.
However, after having given many chances to upcoming talents in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Matri-c4733 and trying out various formations, and for a lack of better options, Prandelli called on the services of Toto for the European Championships. So in their upcoming friendly match
against France, Prandelli is not hesitating on leaving out the much more experienced players and has given the opportunity to two players to prove their worth to the Nazionale cause.
One of them is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Salvatore-Sirigu-c32282; the former Palermo shot stopper, and who is currently plying his trade for Paris Saint-Germain in France. The second player is the teammate of Sirigu, Marco Verratti, the former Pescara player who was in the running to be
selected for the European Championships 2012.
Chiellini has remarked on the changes and has conceded that it will be a weird experience when his side take on the French national outfit without the presence of Buffon and Pirlo in the team; but he remarked that this gives a great opportunity for the youngsters
to show their worth to the team.
He was quoted to have said:
“Without Buffon and Pirlo we are losing two reference points, both for Juventus and the Nazional. It’ll be weird without them, but tomorrow can be a great stage to test young talents like Sirigu, Verratti and El Shaarawy. We need to find a good result. We
have improved a great deal, but still need that step up in quality.”
Chiellini also had words of praise for the current boss of the French team, Didier Deschamps, and holds the former Juventus legend in high regards.
