The former Bayern Munich striker insists that Rafinha needs some more time to shine at the club and claims that the defender has immense potential.

Rafinha joined Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window last year from Italian side Genoa but has failed to live up to expectations and has not been able to cement his place in the first team. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philipp-Lahm-c29929 has had to shift from
his usual left-back position to play on the right side of defence whereas young David Alaba has been impressive on the left for most part of the season.
Elber claimed that the Brazilian defender has been unlucky in his maiden campaign with the former German champions. He insisted that the former Schalke man got injured at the start of the season during which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Alaba-c10416 made full
use of the opportunity and cemented his place as a left-back.
The former striker showered praise on the right-back and is confident that he will make a strong comeback in the coming season.
“Rafinha has been unlucky. First he got injured and then he got ill. Alaba has broken into the starting XI and has done a great job. He has to wait and see what will happen now. He's a great player, though, and fits in well at
Bayern,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Elber stressed that Rafinha has to remain calm to get his chance and admitted that every player wants to play in the first team. He called for patience and is hopeful that the Brazilian defender will return to the form he was in
Schalke and Genoa previously.
“He has to remain calm. Everybody at Bayern want regular first-team football. You have to remain patient. He has to wait for his chance and then show what he can do. He did a good http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at Schalke and Genoa. He just needs a bit of
time. It's only his first season at Bayern. Things will work out,” he concluded.
Rafinha has managed 24 league appearances in his first year at Bayern Munich most of which were as a second-half substitute.
