Trapattoni has come out and admitted that he might lose his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Estonia-c2894 on Tallinn on
11th of November in their historic playoff encounter.
A win over Ireland will do wonders for the nation as it will potentially propel them to their first international major competition in over ten years. However such a thing is easier said than done as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giovanni-c14985 Trapattoni, the Republic
of Ireland national team manager acknowledged in his latest interview to the press.
There is already intense speculation surrounding the Italian manager’s future with the Republic of Ireland national team and the rumours are that his contract might not be renewed if Ireland fail to qualify for the European Championships
in 2012. Trapattoni said in his recent interview that he was well aware of the fact that he can lose his job of Ireland do not do well in both the legs of their qualification play-off against Estonia.
Speaking about the nervousness surrounding the Irish camp, he said, “I am not nervous about this because I know football. I was talking the other days about standing on the edge of the cliffs - that's our life; it's a manager's
life. Our life is dangerous. I have a habit of looking down on dangerous situations. But I think I will live, if not here, then maybe there is another. I don't know where, but sure, I am not stopping here."
Ireland’s draw against Estonia for the playoff stages of the European Championship qualification is perhaps the easiest route to the competition that Ireland could have gotten, which puts pressure on Republic’s team to outshine
their opponents on Friday night and in the subsequent second leg as well.
Trapattoni is still fretting on the fitness levels of some of his squad players and there is also considerable thought going into whether or not he should start with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonathan-c18993 Walters or Simon Cox in Republic of Ireland’s attack,
one of the two candidates will compliment Robbie Keane’s presence in Ireland’s attack against Estonia.
