  1. not sure about ur school, but at my school im pretty sure u just show up with the required forms and a physical from the doctor and then u play ball!

  2. You can't really say you're not good enough for Varsity but it's better to start small and work your way up. Don't be shy when trying out and let the worry get to you if you can help it. If you mess up, don't beat yourself up about it because in games it moves on to the next rally whether you like it or not so you have to be able to let mess-ups go. Give it your all too, don't hold back at all and once you make the team keep giving it your all. Be open to criticism and learning from more experienced players and coaches. Be kind to everyone there, don't mess around too much and waste the coach's time, and enjoy yourself. :)

  3. ** Give it your all

    ** Keep a positive attitude

    ** Go for every ball

** Call the ball as LOUD as you can

** Hustle to the ball and stay under control

** Be positive - Yup saying it again.

    Good luck!!!

  4. Depends what you mean by requirements.  I have coached a high school JV volleyball team for 4 years now.  It is an average size high school, and I still make cuts.  At try outs, work hard, don't complain, don't s***w around, and come prepared and on time. If you go to a big school, those things may not mean as much as it does at a school my size.  I will keep a girl with a good attitude and potential,  and cut the one that has the poor attitude who may be a better player. At freshman level it is still about getting experience at JV your are out to win.  Work hard, be teachable, and give it your all. Coaches love that.
