Girl's locker room in junior high (only girls answer this)?

Question

I am starting junior high in the fall and I just wanted to know that after we do stuff in volleyball do we have to take a shower? And what do the showers look like? Are they clothes or out in the open or what? And do we have to change in front of other girls in the locker room?

I was in vb, and we didn't take showers because there wasn't enough time. no one showered ever. the showers have a curtain. there's about 3 or 4 depending on the school structure. yes, you have to change, but it's not bad. you're just changing from your gym shorts and shirt into your daily jeans and shirt.

yes, you change in front of other girls. but most of the girls are too busy focused on changing and not being late, that nobody pays any attention to anyone else. in volleyball at my middle school, we have volleyball after school. there are showers available to anybody who wants to use them, but they don't make you. the showers at my school, have curtains you may close. if you are embarrassed to change in front of other girls, i know girls who change in the bathroom stalls, and the showers. girls are always in their bras, and underwear though..and often times wear a tank top too. so really, there's nothing to worry about.

if you want to. the showers in my  locker room are just out in the open. . yes but once you get used to it its ok.

i have never shower after practice at school. but usually volleyball was last period so i just went home and showered. but most showers in locker rooms are closed by a curtain.

and yes you change in front of everyone, but nobody cares. everyones a girl in there, and you find ways to change without actually getting like naked. you'll be fine. plus you dont necisarily ahve to change in front of everyone. they have stalls and stuff where you can change.

My highschool's VB locker rooms didn't have showers.

If we ever wanted to take one we would have to go to the seperate GYM's locker room.

But, no one ever did take showers, they waited until they got home.

There wasn't enough time for us ladies to take showers during our transitions to places.

In our other GYM we had curtains, and like triangle shaped metal showers.

It was weird.

my junior high school didn't even have showers.   and you change with your bra and underwear on in the locker rooms, so don't worry.

its kinda weird because we have showers in our locker room, but they don't let us use them. our practices were after school, so we just take showers when we got home. and yeah we had to change in front of other girls but it wasn't like we were all staring at each other.

but at my school for our hard core pe

we showered since 5th grade! haha.

so Im totally used to it. I dont even think

about it anymore. youll see it really not

that bad, and i doubt its required so you

have a choice, dont worry!
