  1. when i played high school football we had two girls on our team, a defensive end, and our kicker, and both held there own, and could take a hit,

they started by joining the team in the winter none contact drills and eventually were able to convince their parents to allow them to play

  2. cut ur hair if its long and work till u cry. you have to be able to lift almost 200 pounds to get anywhere. if ur like under 20 then get the coach to convince ur dad. beat him up     lol

  3. Tell your father it is not fair and that it is sexist that many girls can not play the same sports as boys. (I am a guy and ibelieve in womens rights). I mean boys can play volleyball so why can't girls play football? Tell this to your dad. Yours Truely Crhis Ross Di Capario Wisconsin

  4. take steroids

  5. just join and don't tell your dad

once your in he can't say no

  6. How old are you?

Since it's not football season at present (for amateurs), I assume you are talking about next year.  I don't know what your dad's reason is for refusal, but **ALL** dads want what is best for their daughters; yours is no exception.  I'm sure one concern of his is that he doesn't want you to get hurt.  You need to show him that you can work hard.

So what are you doing to get ready for next season?  How many miles do you run a day?  Do you lift weights?  Do you do push ups, sit-ups, etc?

Yeah, this may sound sexist, but you'll need to work harder than the boys on the team to just have a chance.  If you work out all winter and spring and your father still doesn't let you play, you'll have done your best and you'll be in pretty good shape anyway!

  7. How big are you?  Unless you're as big or bigger than the boys you play with, your coaches might not let you play.  I know that when I was playing high school football, they wouldn't let anybody under 150 pounds even try out for the team...

  8. Tell your dad that your going to the library(cheerleader, netball, swimming or what ever activity will convince him) instead of training. Complete you season of training then invite him to your final game so he can see how good you really are.

  9. No, I don't have any ideas, I wouldn't want my daughter playing football against guys either.....unsafe for obvious reasons.

  10. First of all there was a girl on my all boys team and she was one of the best players on the team. As for convincing your dad that is tough, you have got to get him to understand how much football means to you. For the girl on my team she really was not any different than the rest of the guys. Also she did not have a greater risk towards being injured. And if your dads problem is that you will get hurt, you should really try to reassure him, you are not the first girl to do this.
