Okay, I put on a pantiliner last night. When I woke up it had a ton of light brown stuff on it. Is that my period?

if you are sexually active you should take a pregnancy test. a light bleeding like that is known as implantation bleeding...meaning your pregnant. so i would check if your active.

Yup that is your period. The stuff is just a discharge, and the brown color is from blood. Go get some pads and tampons!

Oh yeah and don't freak out if you have your period like once a month for a few months, and then it just disappears on you. YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT!! That is totally normal. Sorry, a lot of girls post questions relating to that on here and it gets annoying.

It is the pre discharge.  I get it all the time right before the real blood starts flowing.  Totaly normal.

well it depends, that can happen sometimes, but today you would have had more, if there isnt then you might not, but it still can come, if it is your first time it'll be a little irregular. so it could be, just wait to see if you get any more ranging from bright red to brownish.

it isn't your period, not you are going to get your period in a few days. menstrual blood can be medium red to dark red

Hey ! I have that too and it isn't super heavy, right ? That's how I know my period is there ! So I don't get the blood like right off the bat, and it doesn't leak or whatever so I don't have any period surprises. haha. But anyway, it's your period. It'll turn red soon.

Yeah that is your period. Sometimes when the blood has been your uterus for a while it will turn a brown color. It's just coagulated blood. Don't worry about it, we all have it.
