so my friends birthday (and i really like her) is coming up and i got her a really nice necklace and i was wondering if i got it for her would she have an idea that i like her or would she be like this is great ur a great friend.

Well does she know that you like her ? You should just let her know. I wouldn&#039;t give it to her infront of others. You might not get the reaction you expect or she won&#039;t want to embarress you. There is no telling how she will take it . Either way she will know. or do you not want her to know ?

well sometimes girls don&#039;t catch on as quick ... so she might get the idea at first .. she might think something is up but not really go into the ..oh he likes me category ... but try to add something special and from your heart to the present like the card or anything that shows you put thought into it...then it would be easier for her to get that idea

if i was her, i would get the idea.

but if you really do like her then let her think that. theres no point in hiding it. and ill tell you its wayy easier than going up and saying it. and if she thinks its sweet and stuff then maybe she&#039;ll like you. but if she doesnt and gets weirded out then she&#039;s not the one for you.

You need to tell her that you like her more than just a friend dont think that buying her a necklace is gonna say it all and then be let down when she is like thank you and thats it

well i have gotten plenty of gifts from guys and some necklaces and i have never gotten that feeling.. maybe it depends on the necklace..

If it&#039;s her birthday and u want to get her a gift. in order for her to know that u like her. it&#039;s ok the first time to get her a gift, but don&#039;t let that be the only way to show ur feeling for her. it&#039;s other ways to show ur feeling for a person. be careful, because girls these days, some r only looking out for what they can get. so test the water first. get her something small first and see the expression on her face of satisfaction. if she doesn&#039;t show that or sound of satisfaction. back off from the gifts.

I think she would think of you as a great friend rather than you liking her... you don&#039;t have to worry about her finding out you like her... unless you want her to know you like her... cuz if that&#039;s the case then I would suggest getting her a teddy bear or maybe candy... the kinds of things you would give out on V-day...
