yeah, it's a beautiful painting, and you get the feeling that there is more there, which you can just see but not quite make out.

and her expression is so beautiful and sad and innocent and... real, like people really do look like that, it's just not normally caught. also the way she's not looking at you, but something, or someone else, and they really mean something to her.

and then in all of it, there's the earring which kind of distracts you from looking deeper and keeps dragging your attention.

Yes, I have. I think it's her facial expression. There's this sadness to it, yet serenity. It makes you look into her eyes longer.
