Girlfriend!!?!?! how can i tell if she likes me?

So ive been friends with this girl for awhile but recently weve been talking more and ive always liked her but im not sure if she likes me cause were friends. what are some things that i can do to see if she likes me? also how can i be more flirty with her to maybe let her know before i ask her? i don't want to just ask her out without any idea of how she feels about me..

i plan on doing it sometime next week probly like a movie and then ice cream or something. also what day should i ask?

and any other advice that you can give me!!!

I know it's hard to come right out and say it, since the fear of rejection is strong.

When you're hanging out, as friends, say: "Can I ask you a question? Do you ever get confused about the role certain people play in your life? Like sometimes you can think of someone as a friend, and then all of a sudden wonder if they could be more?"

Say it while fiddling with your hands or whatever, then look up at her expectantly. If she turns red, you're in!
