This happened to my brother.

he says 4 months back an argument happened with his girlfriend

she threw a cup of boiling hot tea onto his face scalding it.

he say he just reactly suddenly and slapped her and she ended up dislocating her nose

(i know he have never hit girls ever and is not violent type)

anyway he went to the doctors and hospital with her

well 4 months later the police came and arrested him for assault at my house!

he say he denied the accusations but what will happen to him, he said he couldnt use self-defence to explain his action as their is no proof!

any advice

  1. .   If girlfriend forgives him, he might get lucky.  The judge wants to be sure that he isn't the guy who hits and then says "Sorry" and then does it again.  He may do community service.

  2. My advise to your brother is don't bend over when his cell mate drops the soap.

  3. He wasn't seen by a doctor for the scalding?  If he was, then he should have a medical report as well..

  4. What your bro. should not do is talk to the cops he needs a lawyer right away. Never talk to cops because what ever he says to a cop will be used against him in a court of law .

  5. Thats freaking ridiculous.

Your brother needs a decent lawyer I would say, and a good-will testament. (Given by you maybe?)

That girl is disgusting. How dare she.

  6. If she threw a cup of boiling hot tea in his face, why didn't he seek medical attention? boiling hot tea would have left some kind of mark. Unless, more likely, it was warm. Oh. How horrible she was! warm tea in the face = he slaps her so hard he dislocates her nose??? That would be pretty effing hard to dislocate someones nose with a slap. Can you say over kill? He's probably getting what he deserves. Sorry, I just don't buy his (your) story.

  7. If he had boiling hot tea thrown into his face it should have burned or scarred it.  He wouls have self-defense case there.  If there has been no history of violence then he'll have that on his side.  As far as the nose part, you can't dislocate your nose.  Get a copy of Police report and look it over.  In the end get an attorney who deals with domestic violence.  You are only going on what your brother said.  He may have violent tendencies and you just don't know about them.
