I am the most prissy girl! What will be the hardest part of basic training for me? I really want to join the US army reserve. I would have joined active duty, but I want to stay home to finish school. I feel that the army will really help me to better my life. Am I making the right choice? ( for financial stability, more training for work while in school, to serve my country, to have a future.... ) I need honest opinions! Thank you in advance!

  1. Hey you, know sheer will power will get you through ANYTHING even your health, if nothing else in my life I have learned this.. I thought I would never get through police training camp it was hard as h**l and \i wanted to quit everyday.... but but the end of each week and the closer \i got to the end of the program let me tell you not only did I prove  to everyone who had doubted me.. but i prove dto myself that if i put my mind to it i can do almost anything.....  Lifes hard enough  and if you start to doubt yourself right out of the gate you have almost already failed..... so my advice to you is if you want it bad enough and you use your will power your sure to finish your  program. Belive in you !

  2. Trim those fingernails and leave the earrings at home Honey. Put on your Big-Girl Panties and get ready to TRAIN HARD. You'll be doing push-ups and sit-ups in the hot sun.

Forget about that "Girlie-Girlie" c**p for a few months and show the big boys that you have what it takes to graduate.

Good Luck....We are ALL cheering for ya'.

  3. There are plenty of girlie girls who complete basic training. Just as there are tons of nerdy guys who do. It is all about will power and dedication. Those nine weeks will be hard. Your going to forget who you are but when your done your going to be better for it. As far as if your making the right choice no one can tell you that but you. Remember you can deploy to a war zone, you can have college put on hold, and be taken away from your family. You could even die. It is nothing to take lightly but if you want to serve you can do it.
