Girls, would you do this for charity?

Question

putting on a charity sorority talent show/gong show for cancer charity but the catch is girls who get booed will get "the hook" (yanked off stage with a hook) or a trapdoor will open under them and they'll fall through the stage ( landing in comfy padding so they dont get hurt)

I'm guessing a lot of booing will happen. kinda embarrasing but for a good cause. would u participate/enjoy watching this?

I understand your discomfort with it.  Hmmmm..... I would be the same as you.  It doesn't seem right.  

But...

People ( the audience) are really kinda mean and they like to see this kind of stuff.   I think people would go for that creepy stuff.  And PAY to see it.

If your friends are ok with it, then you might raise a lot of money.   I would do it for a good cause.  Even though it sux and it reeks.

Who knows?  Maybe it's fun to be hooked or dropped through the floor?  Try it.  It' might be hilariously fun.

isn't cancer treatment and recovery all about thinking positive? how can you think positive and do this type of show?

I think it would be mean unless you up the comedy angle and reduce the booing.  Find some creative writers, playwrights and stand up comedians to help write your show.  You'll get a better response and a more memorable evening.

i would cause it totally sounds fun.  Its for a good cause.  I would not get booed off the stage though!!! : -)

No, I would feel embarrassed. But more outgoing ladies might.

I would even rather shave my head and donate it to charity (as some ladies at my university did).
