Girls' preferences for guys?

Question

hey how do girls prefer guys? do they look at looks more than personality? Do girls go for average joes or do i have to act like an overconfident person, dress like a freaking gang-banger so that girls will like me because thats what im seeing right now. Plus, I'd prefer to get an answer from someone who is from Armenia or Eastern Europe because thats where I moved to america from (I don't prefer american girls sorry)

PS: I'm 16 in case you wanna know my age for better advise

I'm definitely personality over looks, but you do have to be attracted to someone! Looks wise, my big things are height (i love tall guys) and big guys, whether that is buff or just naturally big boned, it makes me feel protected. As for acting like a gang-banger, I don't find that attractive at all, but I like for a guy to seem all tough on the outside and then be a teddy bear with me. Confidence is nice, but too much to the point of cockyness is a big turnoff. Just be yourself, and the right girl who appreciates you will come along, because every girl has a different type.
