  1. i don't get depressed, but i get really weak and low energy. My body needs to rest, especially during the heavy flow.  Everyone's different.  My sister gets migrains every month during her period. So, it sounds like you're totally normal.

  2. I started mine yesterday, but now that you say it I was crying in the shower this morning about something totally random.

  3. ya!!! i just finshed my period today and i feel great!!!!! the past 3 days i was cranky and depressed and i just wanted to stay home  but today i feel great

  4. yeah it sucks! sometimes i just start crying randomly and i get angry out of no where.  it is perfectly normal I HATE IT! :[

  5. Yea it is natrual. expecially if you are going through puberty. There is alot on a womens mind to think about and deal with every day. expecially if you are a teenage. Try smiling and or exercising it releases endorphins and make you happier. (:

  6. its no big deal it happens i get really moody 1 min im sweet one min and nice the next ill rip some ones head off and i cry a lot.

  7. I'm not sure what you mean about "think really deep about things."

But in general, it is common to be down, to cry, to be emotionally unstable during your period...everyone experiences different side effects of the hormonal fluctuations. Some girls get temperamental, or angry, others get sad.

Actual "depression" however, is a serious condition that last much longer than a period. (Like months on end.) And it requires psychiatric help. But being moody/melancholy during your period is normal.
