Do you and your friends have a code name for your period?

Its just a funny question. Like if I'm in public and I have to my friend in front of people (boys) that I have it (Like if I have to say why I cant swim, or why I'm moody) I say my "friend" came over my house and shes annoying as h**l.

Some guys are weird about the word "period" for whatever reason. So I normally say my monthly... and most guys don't even understand it... poor guys. lol

we usually use some kind of odd, out of nowhere quotes like, "because fishies are awesome" or "because the cow became dyslexic yesterday and went oom and now it keeps doing it", etc..

lol we call it code red, aunt flo, red pansy, or the annoying grandmother. Or we just say we hate mother nature. :)

My friends and i used to say "red dot" or jus "dot" but now we dont care and we jus say were on our period and around guys we say "its that time of month"

when we were in middle school we used to just say yeah i have "it" this week.

now since we're older we just say we have our periods and we dont care whos around or who knows.
