  1. Dont worry throughout your life your period is going to interrupt many things you dont want it to, its all part of being a women, i remember when i was about 13 i was going camping with the brownies for the weekend and was on my period full swing at the time there was nothing i could do about it and just did the best i could, dont let your peroid ruin your weekend just think of it as a exsperience and if you can go camping with it then you can do many other things whilst you are on.

    xx

  2. youve got two whole weeks thats loads of time for your period to come.

but then again periods do come at the worst times. Id get some heavy duty pads or tampons ready. And if your  nervous about talkin to your scout leader, why not ask  you mum or a friend to have a word with her before you go. then all you have to say is "girl troubles" before you excuse yourself.

take some baby wipes as well so you can keep fresh and everythin should turn out alrgiht, Oh and dont forget the painkillers if your one to get cramps.

  3. Having your period at an inconvenient time is something we, as girls, all have had to deal with at some time.  You can bring the necessary products which you will need if you happen to get your period at camp.  (I don't know if you use tampons or not, but they are an option if you want to go swimming); bring pads if you don't use tampons.  Make sure that you change them often and bathe or shower every day.  That will make you feel clean and fresh even if you happen to be off schedule for your camping trip.  Talk to your leader if you feel as if it is an issue.  Don't be so nervous.  Anyone who ever has a period has been there before and we have all survived without any major problems.  Have a great time at camp!!

  4. tell your leader. she will understand

  5. Dont get nervous and just be prepared.

& it is also normal to miss a period if you just started

    you're first year isnt normal

  6. I don't quite see how you've got bacteria vaginitus simply because your period hasn't come on the exact day. They never do arrive on the dot. I think you'll have it in the next few days and it'll have gone by the time your camp starts in 2 weeks. Seriously, don't worry as stress can delay it also.

    Don't worry x*x

  7. don't be nervouse ok take some pads and ask if need help if you have a cell phone then you can like call some one like you mom or some body (if they let you call)

  8. dont be scared. you still have 2 weeks until that which is 14 days usually your period lasts less than 7 days.

  9. You can't live your life in fear of you're own body hun. even if you do get it all is not lost. take some midol and pack accordingly. what could help you get your period sooner so it's over by the time you go to camp is you could do some physical activity. never fails for me. even in the middle of my "special week" when i exercise the flow will get heavier.

    hope i helped :D

  10. Usually a period will last 3-7 days so even if you start your period in a couple days you should be fine. If you do end up starting your period before camp just take your feminine hygiene products with you as well as some grocery store bags (for disposal) and you don't even have to tell your leader. I used to be very bashful too.

  11. Hi there, unfortunately you cannot stop your period from coming when it is ready. But you can be prepared. Take extra protection to your camp. Also double up on your pads if they are too thin. Also Pamprin works very well for cramps and bloating. Hope this helps
