  1. if you go to www.usarugby.org and click on the left menu on "find a club" you can put info in to help search in your area  it will turn up any team that has been active within the last 2 years and will also give contact info.  if that doesn'tt give you anything, search for a local men's team and i'm sure one of them will know... most of the rugby players end up coaching youth rugby teams.  you may have to start one!  but rugby is getting more popular in highschools.  usually you'll have several highschools that join together and play regionally until the teams grow.  good luck!

  2. Wow awesome. If its Rugby Union your are wanting to play my daughter is 5 and she play's Junior Rugby Union but a modified version where there is no tackles its very similar to touch footy where you tag the opp on the hips.

I also played for one season when i was 21..haha,I injured my shoulder so i didnt continue.

Over here in Brisbane Australia you can have both boy's and girls play in the same team but once they are 12 the girls and boys have to play in seperate teams.

You could try your community sports and rec centre and ask one of the workers or (manager) if theres a Rugby Union club in your area.

You could also try your local telephone directory for sports clubs and see if there's any Rugby Union Clubs in your area,or jump on the internet and start googling hun.

Ohio aye, thats fantastic! I have seen the USA Rugby Union Team play in the world cup and they have improved a lot.

I wish you all the very best and hope there is a Rugby Union Club near you so you can sign up with them.If not you can always start your own all girls team get a coach (someone who knows the game) and a few parents to help out and presto you have your own Club.

Thats how we did it, there was no sports club in our area, and because there was no sports clubs avaliable the kids were getting in trouble with the police etc, so we decided to establish our own club alot of the parents really like Rugby Union they either kiwi's..lol,or played it at school,or when they were younger. With alot of help and support from very dedicated parents and volunteers our club was born 10 years ago..haha. We have teams from under 6,7,8,9,10 ,12, and under 16, we have seen really good players go through the club-its been an amazing journey.

I really hope you find a club near you:) and if your thinking of making up your own team/club you can do it-anything is possiable!!
