k i have my period and i rly want to use tampons but my mom says no becuase it give u bacteria in ur private part? is dat true? which tampons are good and the strings dont break rly and i need ones for teens so which brand too? thanxs and how could i tell my mom i rly want to use them when i tell her plz and i explain to her she gets mad and screams at me and says ew. plz help i dont like pads!!!!! there messy best answer 11 points!!!!! thanxs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nope it dosent break nope it dosent give u bacteria unless u leave it in for too long and i used platex sport when i was 12 and i still use it today

They can give you a disease. And usually tampons are used after sexual intercourse. That's why girls use them because during s*x their hymen breaks.

Tampons are disgusting. Naturally all that blood needs to come out of your system and with a tampon you just keep it all in there and it can smell and have infections down the road. About the hymen, it is possible to break yours, all girl's v****a's are different, hymens aren't in the same place like the next girl. But i would stick to your mom's rule and wear pads.

go with Tampax Pearl (pearl is just the plastic version rather than cardboard and is easier to get in)  i've never had the string from them break in 3 years of using them.  and i dont think it breaks it, but ill be honest it will be uncomfortable or hurt a bit the first time but i think thats just bc....well theres never been anything up there before and it takes getting used to. so yep thats what i say : ] oh and sorry your mom's giving you a hard time.....
