Girls and racing?

I like to race dirt bikes and im a girl. the guys at my school tell me its a guy sport. What should i tell them.

tell them what my daughter does......she tells them she can do anything a boy can do ...and on their terms....

the ones who say it is so easy... she invites to come ride with them....besides if it were that easy everyone would do it!!!!

I know heaps of girls that race motocross and enjoy it.  Not all race against the guys, but choose to stick with the girls or womens only classes.  They have heaps of fun and while at this stage I only know one or two that can compete against and beat the boys, they sure enjoy trying.  

While it is a sport dominated by males it certainly doesnt mean that the girls are not out there giving it a go and good on those that do.  

You should just tell those guys that say it's a guy sport that you enjoy showing the guys your roost as you rail past them and that they soon learn their place.

They don't know what their talking about, have they ever heard of the AMA Woman's MX championship? All of the racers there are way faster than the guys at your school.

well i ride a whole lot and i know some girls that ride actually with me and my buddies if u are good then tell them to come show u its a guy sport there are pro women riders who would kick these guys buts all over the track and make them cry

don't worry about them, guys have always told me the same thing about motocross and when i used to skateboard, i just ignore them. i'm me and proud of who i am and what i do and nobody will ever change my feelings. do what you love and ignore anyone who gets in the way of your dreams.

Ignore them.  When i was in High School i knew this girl who raced dirt bikes.  It was no big deal.

You should tell them that a woman has nearly beat alot of track records for PRO-AM races.Her name is Mercedes Gonzales.I have personally raced against her and can guarantee you she could beat all of your friends.If not "lap" them.Unless they are too afraid to try.She still teaches a motocross school i believe.She rocks!
