  1. The best way to tell is by ovulation. 1 week before my first period, I had a whole lot of, (this may sound gross), snot like muscus stuff when I went to the bathroom. Later that night, I had the most painful experience in my life under my left ovary. (includeing then time I broke my toe.) I also was breaking out a lot. But the best thing I can say is that if you all of a sudden have a lot of snot like stuff, and then it stops all together for a while. (meaning no discharge AT ALL) Then it should be coming. If you are worried, then just where a pantie liner, that way if in class you feel it coming, (you may or may not), then take a pad to the bathroom with you. :)

  2. I think there's a possibility you could start soon, so always be prepared ! Bring tampons and pads with you in a backpack or purse.

Some signs other than cramps could be a thicker discharge, bloating, fatigue and having tender, larger b*****s. Good luck, sweetie.

  3. You may be starting your period. Sometimes sadly it takes you by suprise but there are other signs besides cramps. Such as vaginal discharge. It varies for everyone though. Take some pantiliners with you to school and keep them with you just in case.

  4. if you have been having some vaginal discharge, it could be a matter of a few days or perhaps several months before you get you period.  If you have discharge, it might be a good idea to wear panty liners this way, you period wont really ruin you clothes when it arrives.  also put some famine hygiene products in you locker for emergency's.  hope this helps!!
