Question:

Girls catcalling more than guys do??

I realize that tables may have turned since the early 1900's, when guys catcalled and hooted and hollered after girls, but I would like to say that's calmed down a bit nowadays (most smart guys realize nowadays that they're not gonna find a woman when women see men treating them like objects).

The question I'm coming to is this; I've seen and heard girls comment on hot guys to each other in their groups or, on many occasion, comment on hot guys in front of their boyfriends. I'm wondering if its to purposely stimulate jealousy in their significant other? Or to insinuate a degree of feminism in themselves? We all know why men used to do this (some still do). But why do women do it? Just curious.

  1. I wasn't alive back then, so I wouldn't know. But I do believe that, now, girls are more vocal about their attractions to guys than the other way around. They are the ones that will go on and on with their friends about such and such a guy, and it seems more socially acceptable that a girl can gush about "eye candy" in front of her boyfriend than vice versa.

I don't know why they do it (I don't, because it's disrespectful). It's just a thing that girls do, I guess.
