I have a couple of them for kayaking but I like this one, the MTI Orleans.

It's inexpensive, fits well, has nice pockets and is cut short in the back so it doesn't ride up on a shorter person.  It's designed for canoeing, kayaking, rafting and sailing.  Would not be recommended for waterskiing, however -- you would want one cut longer in the back.
