Girls on Motorcycles?

Question

Looking into buying a Yamaha V-Star 250 (would love a harley but can't afford it) But anyways from guys point of view What do most think about girls who ride motorcycles. Would love to get a speed bike like a Yamaha FZ6

If you want a sportbike, why dont you get the new ninja 250. Great learners bike and the 08 model looks really nice. Been seeing alot more ladies on bikes, shwing!

Where I live the kind of females I'm into ride sport bikes. FZ6 would be a great choice. With an MSF course and a few months practice, you'll be just fine.

some of us girls are very sensible riding motorbikes,mopeds,superbikes etc, not all of us are speed freaks.

Can't speak for all guys, but this is what I think.

Women on motorcycles (just like everyone on motorcycles) tend to be interesting people with an independent streak.  Women on bikes tend to be even more independent, as there is a pretty significant cultural bias towards men on bikes.  Most people, when you mention a m/c rider will think that that person is male, and when you mention a passenger, they'll think female.

I think that women on motorcycles are a really good thing.  Good for the sport, good for the women, just plain good!

Start slow and don't go for speed the first year or two.  It really takes that long for you to learn to ride well. If not this is what can happen

I love seeing ladies ride!  I would love my wife to learn and get her own bike, I am working on it.  I have several lady friends who ride, one of which turns heads on and off the street.  She is 6'4 athletic natural red hair and rides a blackbird sportsbike.

Nothing wrong with the V-Star 250, never ridden one but seen a couple and they look sharp.  Make sure you do the MSF course if you haven't already.
