i had a pretty light flow of blood for about three days...

is this my "official" first period?

yes! it is! here are some tips on what NOT to do while on your period!

1. never wear yellow, white, or pretty much any color besides black or blue pants/skirt!

2. always keep 2 extra pads in your purse

3. at school carry your purse with you

yes i would say that is your period. Some girls have light flows during all of their periods and i know for my first one it was only one day but it was still my period. I would start going to see and OBGYN they will help you if you need it. Also talk to you parents about it as well. Hope that helps!

Very easily could be your first official time, kiddo.

Doesn't matter how much you go or don't go.

And though young ladies have started as early as 9, it is

also not unusual for them to start as late as 16.

You will find each person is different,

including mother and daughter.

So if you shouldn't have a second one any time soon,

I wouldn't worry about it, unless you get a lot of cramping.  

Then, perhaps the doctor could help determine what is going on.

Because once it starts, it will be around for a very long time.

was it 4 like around 5 days........u should wait until u get ur next period.....if u dont then tat means u havent gottn ur official period yet......

Yes probably, I don't think there's ANY other reason why you'd have blood coming out of there, unless you were pregnant, but thats doubtful for you. I've heard of some girls having it light there first time, the next one though... watch out. And watch out for the rest of your life until you're 60 somethin... welcome to being a woman you're gonna love it!

i'm having my 4th ever right now it may go on and off but mine did'nt it lasted around a whole 9 days the first time only but peoples bodies are different of course i wouldnt worry

Probably, probably not.  It just depends on you.  You will get the hang of it.  Keep it marked on a calendar the vary day  you start, that way you will be able to keep it in mind when you should start again.

It might just be light for the first time.  I wouldn't worry about it.
