Girls only please? Can I nair my bikini line?

Question

Hi, I'm going on vacation on Sunday and I want to look decent uh down there, lol. So I was wondering can I nair it? I know that nair makes cream for sensitive skin and specifically for bikini lines but I'm afraid that if I use it that it will be itchy and burn my whole trip! :( That would be so awful if that happened. I've waxed it before but it hurt so badly and I'm not comfortable with some lady I barely know doing that to me. Would you mind sharing the outcome if you have used nair for your bikini line? Or should I just suck it up and wax it? No rude comments please. Thanks for your help.

Have you ever used Nair before (anywhere else)?  The first time I used it, I had a bad reaction (redness that stung).  Another thing to consider is called a "patch test".  You want to see if you will have a bad reaction before using full out.  To do this, put a dime size spot of the product just below you inner elbow.  Time according to the package directions and remove.  Wait 24 hours to see if you have any irritations.  If not, then it is safe to use.  Remember though, that once you put Nair (or any such cream) on "that area", to make sure that you are in the bathroom.  And you might want to bring a book with you.  If you put it on and try to walk around, it gets all over the place.  I don't know if they still make the product, but years ago I used to use Bikini Bare and it worked really well!  I've only ever used Nair on my legs.  I have waxed my legs and brows (both salon and at home).  With such a sensitive area you want to be careful as you may get little pink/red bumps when the waxing strip is pulled.  I have used a wax that I got at Walmart.  The name has Brazilian in it - but I can't remember the exact name.  You heat it in the microwave, apply with a stick, and don't need strips.  It worked REALLY well, but you had to put it on a little at a time (about the size of a quarter).  I hope that this helps!

I've used Nair on my bikini line before and it didn't do so bad, but got better results when I used a Schick Quattro razor or got waxed.

well i think i depends on the nair. i use nair also but i only use it on my legs and arm pits. i believe the bottle says dont use towards pubic area but its up to you. pick the right nair and read the bottle. if it says you can, go ahead! if not, it's up to you!

i shave but i would think you could nair it.My best friend does she said it bruns for a little while but you should be ok i hope i helped. good luck! i hope things work out!

but i would wax.
