  1. First off, congrats on your period. xD (I remember my friend telling her bro and he said "Uh.. sorry?" because after awhile it starts coming at the wrong time x.X)

Second, tampons are inserted into the v****a. Just, very carefully, insert it in there. Be careful though, and make sure you have the right size! It hurts if the tampon is too large. (ah, I'm 11 and I still use pads.. I started when I was of nine years old. I would proceed with caution)

Tips: Don't wear it too long.. I would change the tampon every 2-3 hours, depending on how bad your period is at the moment. Also, if you don't have to wear one, wear pads. I would, as I have for two years. I would only consider tampons in the situation that I was going swimming (which I don't even go when I have my period..)

  2. Okay Just Kinda Feel Around Until You Feel A Hole. You'll Know What It Is Once You Feel It.

  3. you have to push it until the string is coming out of the hole, they should be instruction in the box

  4. sit or stand in a comfortable position , and then hold the tampon with your fingers and insert in that hole in your v****a towards the small (curve) of your back , if you feel it in there and it hurtys take it out and try again , if you dont feel it and you can move comfortably you did it succsesfully .

  5. you joking right??

well you obviously don't stick it in your nose..

why don't you use hygiene packet instead???

  6. put it in ur birth canal aka v****a

  7. you should use a pad to start with you have enough new going on right now. and as for your mother wow what a butt! The best way to put a tampon in is setting on the toilet.just insert it and push the bottom inside the other part and the tampon should go right in. but it might feel weird at first but if don't right it should not be painful at all.

    Hope I helped some

    Good luck

  8. into your v****a.

  9. Have you read the pamphlet that came with the package of tampons?

It takes time and patience.  Tell your mom to stop hounding you because you need to RELAX when placing the tampon inside of you.

I've worn them since age 11, I'm 34 now, and I love tampons.  Be sure you are trying the slenderest ones.  Tampax pearl lites are what I recommend.

My first one took me a long time to insert.

And you can wear tampons on the very first day of your very first period without any problems whatsoever.

  10. DO NOT wear tampons if it is your first time. you should wear pads.

if you absolutely have to, you want to stand up, put one foot on the toilet and you want to insert it into your v****a, not straight up but at an angle until you are touching yourself, then you want to push it in. you will be very nervous the first time so take A LOT of deep breaths. after my first time i was shaking from head to toe but really, you cant feel it at all afterwards.

i still dont like the idea of you wearing tampons your first time, you should wait at least a couple months or until you get used to having your period.

please please please wear pads instead.

tell your mom you're not comfortable! stand up to her. if you have an older sister or a neighbor or someone who has pads (in case you dont) go borrow some. just please dont use tampons your first time.

  11. feel around in the middle section with the tampon and push gently till you find the hole, or try looking down there with a mirror, you will get the hang of it

  12. personally i dont advise tampons 1st ...

use towels until you know what your flow is like as you may end up using a light tampon and have a heavy flow (which could lead to embarassing situations of leaking, sorry if this sounds a bit scary but you will get used to it :-) lol)

and about your mum... pfft! she might have pmt lol but your learning and she shouldnt be getting angry at you

  13. There are directions - with a drawing - in every package of tampons. If your mom doesn't have a new package, ask her to buy you one. A lot of doctor's offices have sample packs as well with pamphlets and instructions for use. Have her call your pediatrician or her OBGYN and ask if they have anything like that.

Starting out with tampons may not be the best idea though. You need to allow your body freedom and you need to give yourself the chance to get to know what it feels like and how much you will bleed over the course of your period so that, later, you will know how often you need to change your pad or tampon. Plus, tampons take a while to get used to. I didn't start wearing them until I was in my twenties and it took me a while to find the right size and style and to get comfortable having them in me, as your v****a isn't generally a place you carry something around in!

But, really, all you do is insert it slowly into the vaginal canal, where you pee from, where the blood comes from. The easiest way to do it is to put a foot on the toilet seat and bend slightly, wipe off any excess blood that may have come out and then insert the tampon slowly, stopping at the point where the two pieces (plastic or cardboard) meet. Push the bottom piece up so that the tampon goes further into you and then remove both of those pieces. Make sure the string remains outside your v****a. That is how you remove it later. It will take your body a while to get used to the feeling and to not think you have to pee all the time with it in. I recommend starting this process on days when you don't have anywhere else to go. Try to keep it in for a while (up to four hours for most) because if it's still dry when you remove it, it will hurt and may scrape against your canal and that will make the next insertion difficult.

Don't flush the applicators, even if they say they are flushable. Just toss them in the trash.

You may want to wipe again just in case you pushed any blood out with the insertion. A washcloth, a baby wipe, or toilet paper work fine. Whatever you're comfortable with. Wear pantiliners too until you get better control of how often you need to change the tampon so you don't stain your underwear.

To remove it, stand in the same position and pull gently on the string. You may have to push slighty as if you are peeing to give it some leeway. You can flush tampons but I honestly don't recommend it. They don't really biodegrade and it will save you the hassle of a possible later blockage in your plumbing. Simply wrap it in a few sheets of toilet paper and put it in the trash.

    Good luck!

  14. First of all, if you just started having your period, it's not good to start using a tampon. There are some girls who can't use tampons ever. I'm not trying to scare you, but you can get a rare but serious desease: TSS. I would try using pads for a while.

  15. Well if ur under 15 i wud strongly suggest using a sanitry towel wud b better

  16. Well, when you have your first period it can be very irregular, sometimes there isnt enough blood to fill the tampon so it can be very painful. I would recommend to start with a pad and then move to a tampon when you swim, and when your period is very regular. If you decide its time you simply push it in the hole below where you c**p. then you simply pull the plastic piece off. To take it out simply sit on the toilet and pull the string. Try to practice with you mom on how to pull off the plastic piece, because it can be confusing. just do it without actually inserting it.

  17. First of all your mum should not be getting larry about a tampon! Secondly, the tampon goes in the v****a (put it this way the next hole down is your bum hole so go back one and youll find it!) lean one leg on the bath/toilet or something then just put it in. You have to be nice and relaxed though. There are instructions on the box by the way! :)

  18. insert it to your ears when u don't want to hear anything u don't like

  19. i couldn't even use a tampon till after i had a child, read the box, there will be instructions on it or the paper it comes with, and make sure you put it in your v****a, and yes, she is right, you have to do it., make sure you get a small size tampon, like for juniors, or maybe a regular sized one,  the juniors or lites are much slimmer, and if you need to change that more often you might try the regular sized one. i found a box but instructions: wash your hands, unwrap the tmapon, there will be this 'grip' thinghold that between first finger and thumb, with the other hand pull on the string a little to make sure it is intact, it's easier to do this on the toilet, then placein v****a a bit,and push the tampon upward with the hand you tugged on the string with and the gripper hand part and the other part will slide off, leaving the tampon in place, i hope i explained it ok, it would be easier in person,  lol, and you know boys are going to read this anyhow don't you?

  20. For one, dont let your mum get angry, its your body and your decisions.

i know i didnt use a tampon straight away, i used pads. I think your better off getting them because they're easy and straight forward.

However, if you really want to use Tampons, in the boxes of Tampax theres a little instruction leaflet which tells you how and where to use it.

  21. Read the instructions! You should start off with towels, anyway...your Mum is wrong...tell her I said so...you can't rush these things!

  22. Congratulations Hunni!!

You Have Three Holes! Go For The Middle One!! There IS More Instructions on the tampon pack, but like sit on the loo, bend over (oh and hunni get the applicator tampons they are much easier!) Pull the Bottom tube of the applicator out, stick the applictor (with the tampon inside) in your middle hole and push the smaller tube into the bigger, if you can feel the tampon, you just need to push it in a little further!

and dont worry about your mum, she is just probably having a bad day!!

    Good Luck Hunni!!

    xxxxx

  23. u don't have to you can go and get pads. but there should be instructions in the pack. you are going to feel it for a bit but you will get used to it. you do want to make sure that it is in all the way and also that you are not using a bigger tampon than what you need. that can cause problems. if you don't feel comfy with the tampons ask your mom to get you some pads.

  24. not sure if this is a joke but i'll advise anyhow.

your best off using tampons with an applicator. they come about 2 inches long and when you open the packet they extend. either sit on loo leaning forward or stand with leg on loo seat.

find your v****a (this is the hole just before your bum hole), place the tip of the tampon inside the hole and genntly slide the applicator in till your fingers touch your body. push the end of the applicator till again, you touch your body, remove applicator. you should now have the tampon inside with the string hanging out.

remove tampon and replace every 2-4 hours depending on how heavy you are.

  25. i wanna know too lol

  26. omg.. tell your mom to chill out! just read the instructions! it tells you step by step!

  27. read the instructions but i highly recommned you use pads first as it will hurt the first time you use tampons as you only just started your periods, tell you mum not to rush you you dont have to do anything but hope you get the hang of it eventually!

  28. if its your first period y dont you use a pad? nyway go to http://beinggirl.com/en_US/home.jsp

  29. Use sanitary towels at first and move on to tampons when you are comfortable with them.  Ignore your mum - it is totally inappropriate and thoughtless of her to get angry - starting your period is a big deal for a girl and I can't believe she has forgotten how strange and unsettling it can be or how crazy your hormones are.  There are instructions in the tampon box - best to use those.

  30. into your v****a
