  1. Yes its completely normal I don't think tampons absorb as much blood as pads would so if you want to stop changing so frequently you should start using pads I think they are better I can be walking around the whole day with something inside me but if they are comfortable keep using them you should also ask your doctor for birth control pills because they regulate your period and makes it lighter and shorter it really helps for people with heavy periods within one month your period will be lighter and last for about 3 to 4 days

  2. I can totally sympathise with you on this one. You really should discuss this with your doctor, there are things that he can do to help. Don't worry unduly, this happens to a lot of women although this is no consolation to you.

  3. Hi, If your periods are that heavy then you need to use a pad aswell for extra protection and if it continues for another day or so as heavy as it has been then you need to go and see your GP he might even prescribe you some birth control or get you in to see a Gyno and then he/she will probably suggest that you might have the Mirena coil fitted to lighten your periods.

But am sure there are other roads to go down then having the mirena coil fitted.

    Good Luck

  4. Perfectly normal. Stop worrying yourself.

  5. wow now i see why it's girls only...

i strongly regret opening this question, my curiosity always getting me into bad stuff...

  6. yes perfectly normal, everybody is different.  I would say also what size tampons are you using??  I use the ultra night pads (look like nappies) and still flood the bed so i wouldnt worry hun x

  7. Yes its completely normal! its just a heavy flow!

If you would like to ease cramps and lighting your flow go to you G.P to prescripe you with the contraceptive pill!

    Dont worry hun! x*x

  8. Yes it is normal

Some people are heavier than others

Dont worry you will get used to it

  9. Hi

I dont think this is normall and maybe you should talk to your mum and perphaps go and see your Doctor

However Periods can be diferent everytime and maybe this time you are going to be heavier at the start, yet you will be on for fewer days!

Hope its nothing to worry about though!

    Gd Luck!

  10. Yes it is sooo normal. It will be irregular at first but it will soon kick in. It's best to use panty liners at first but dont worry. It's absolutly normal.   :D

  11. yes its normal, but its all depends on how heavy, but everyone body is different, most likely as ur days goes by u should b light... and keep track of ur heavy days and ur light days so u will no n da near future.. but if it real heavy, contact ur doc, but dont get scare it should b normal.

  12. my heavier than that so i guess its normal

  13. wen u first get ur period u really sopose 2 wear pads yes that is norm

if this helps try buying a heavy flow pad or tampon

  14. I change my tampons alot also. I would suggest wearing a pad (I like Always w/ wings) in the beginning of your period. It allows more blood to come out, like it's suppost to. Then wearing a tampon the 3rd day on... Or wear a pad at night. I have a heavy flow and that's what I do because sometimes I will fill up a tampon in less then an hour. Hope this helps!

  15. I had the same problem when I was around 13-14... My periods were irregular and very heavy. My doctor put me on birth control to make them the same time every month and also to lighten up the bleeding. I ended up with 4day periods that were quite light.

  16. actually i am the same way like so much heavier than normal people. isome people are just really heavy and it happens like that sometimes its ok!

now me on the other hand i have Endometriosis and i was recently put on birth control so im REALLY heavy, i throw up have diareaa, and almost pass out before and during every period

    birth control helps

im just saying it could be worse

and if you get any of those symptons go to the dr

    just sayin :)

  17. You haven't stated how long today is because we all live in different time zones, It can be normal but if its that heavy i suggest you use a pad, no matter if you hate them. If its still extremely heavy in two days you might want to talk to a doctor:)
