  1. i was just like ;;mum.....i have started my periods where do you keep the pads?;;

she said upstairs in the cupboard then she took me too the shops and brought me some of my own :P

  2. as long as you a talking about your period then you can just ask your mom for pads or tampons (i would start w/ pads). if you already have pads or tampons then your mom might begin to notice that they are bloody and in the trash. also, you can just tell your mom that your period has started, she's been through this too it's not a big deal.

  3. i honestly just came out and told her. it was a little weird at first because i was embarrased but after i told her i felt better because i knew that it was my period...and she even took me out for a "girls day out". its nothing to be ashamed of...just take a deep breath and let it out.

  4. Just say you think you started your period. Don't be embarrassed. Your Mom is a girl too, and knows exactly what it is like to start your period and then have to tell someone. We all have to do it and I remember being  very scared and embarrassed, but once you've said it, it's done. You will never have to go through it again! Good luck.

  5. tell her your bleeding.

when i started, i didn't realize what it was.

i went and asked her what it was in my underwear. lol.

    i was young so...

but she was like..i think you started.

    and that was it.

    good luck.

  6. hmmm i think you're talking about your period right?

well okay this is what i did:

when i was eleven i found blood on my underwear

i then told my mom and she didn't give me any sort of lecture

she just gave me a pad and told me to put it in my pants.

trust me, the earlier you get it out to your mom, the less awkward it is.

& if you can't tell your mom,

talk to your older sister or cousin

or maybe the school nurse or teacher.

they won't tell your mom, and they'll tell you what to do.

    not nearly as awkward (:

  7. It happens to every girl. It may seem a little embarrassing, but a mother is someone you can trust to help you thorugh those things.

  8. Easy, just say, "Mom, i've started my period". Don't be shy,she is your mother and she has been through it herself.

  9. she probably knows ur embarrassed so why would she try to make it more embarrasing for you? its not like she's going to care.

  10. Tell her, "Mom, i'm bleeding, can i get a pad or tampon please?"

  11. started what?

  12. when i had my period i was young so i didn't  know and went ahead and told her she was like it's normal she just got me some pads! i really don't see why you should be embarrassed i mean she's your mom so yeah!

  13. It is a lot easier than you might think   I'm 14 and I started my period two years ago. Just tell her you've found blood in your underwear. And ask for some of her panty liners start out with those instead of tampons they will take some getting used to but it will get easier and after a few years the cramps are bearly noticable.  You'll Do Fine.

    Good Luck,

    BlueSue

  14. Tell your mom that youve started already and you need supplies. Shell understand. Shes a girl too

  15. if it is that you started your Period its is natural thing and something you need to tell her in private so that you dont feel embrassed! I hope you are older than 11 when I started be/cuz it was a lil hard for me to say in bleeding form you know what but it works out in the end!!!

If you started having s*x... I wouldnt know how to tell my mom that I would just assume she would know if I am in a comitted relationship and I call her one day and tell her Im Pregnant!!! lol

Good luck and both these things are natural so dont worry ujst chill and go with the flow!! No pun intended!! lol

  16. You could be like mom you would never guess what happened to me today ..... And then tell her.

  17. You think you have started ? To me that sounds like you are not sure. Either way, i suggest you share your concerns with your mum. After-all, that is what mums are there for. Alternatively, if you really do not feel comfortable confiding in your mum, then perhaps you could talk to someone else that you trust. A brother or sister perhaps ? A cousin ?

  18. You go to your mom and tell her.

I told my mom there was blood in my underwear.. She took care of the rest.

  19. i went through this too and i didnt want to tell my mom either. but its a good idea because if you dont get the "materials" that are needed it can make you sick and maybe even an infection. i know its hard because it can be kinda embarrassing, believe me ive been there. but just approach her when shes alone (watching tv, cooking, etc.) or maybe even you guys should do a shopping trip or go out to dinner togather, that maybe you can tell her when yours comfortable and ready. =]

  20. say mom can we go out for lunch i have to tlak to you about something and good luck

  21. Just sit her down and say mom i think we should go to the store to get some pads and on the drive there you girls can chat just with you and her(girls only).

If you have a hard time talking to your mom about that you could ask her about her first one then when she asks "why....did you start?" then you can tell her yes

  22. i never told my mom she just find out cuz i was taking her stuff lol . good luck have fun with it

  23. Just tell her you need some tampons or pads, she will understand what is going on.

  24. Bring her to the bathroom, and tell her that you think you started it.

  25. well if you dont want to then dont , you dont have to. just say hey mom iv started my peirod

  26. when i started, i had swim practice :-/ but im just like ok i have to tell her, so i said "mom, i think i started my period" simple!

  27. Well whatever it is that you started you can always ask your mom. She is one of the people that is always in your corner to help you. Just ask for any of the things you need and I'm sure she'll be most accomodating. Best of luck

  28. welcome to womanhood sweetie..

  29. Are you referring to your period?

Try ringing your mom up so you don't have to speak to her face to face if this is what you would prefer, it could be less embarrassing for you.

But really there is nothing to worry about, I know it can be a very scary time, but just remember your mom went through this all as well, and probably still is, so she will understand completely, don't be worried. :)

  30. Just tell her! there is nothing to be embarrassed about. I remember I was when I started I was really embarrassed to tell my mom. But if you think about it, pretty much anyone over the age of 13 has a period. There is nothing to be ashamed of because EVERY woman has one or has had one at some point!! Congrats on growing up! :)

  31. well am guessing its your period, just tell her that you did and most likely she will give you a little talk.
