  1. probably about 2 inches... but I wouldn't be worried if its less

  2. It does'nt matter about the length of the string as long as the tampon cannot be felt and the string is visible enough to be pulled out afterwards. It's much better to push a tampon in further than you think, in case you don't push it in enough and can feel the tampon and then you would probably have to take it out straight away. Its an awful feeling!

  3. i never tried them ,but i guess enough should be lefted so you can pulll the string out.and if you put it in right ,you shouldn't feel it.

  4. Enough so that you can still pull on it to remove it. Not feeling the tampon is normal, and as long as you can grab the string, you're okay. It's very rare for a tampon to become stuck. :)

  5. As a rule some string should be out side for easy extraction, other wise it really does not matter if you are comfortable, deeper insurtion provide more leakage protection.

  6. If you can't feel it, then it's in as far as it needs to go.  When you wear a tampon, the point is not to notice it.  The string typically hangs 2-3 inches out of the v****a.  If you are concerned, read the information that comes in the tampon box.  Remeber, if all else fails, read the directions.
