well this is kinda embarassing but whenever i get my period i have diarroeah :S

you're not alone! it happens to me too. its either right before or right after my period. like, you just get this urge that you have to go to the bathroom! i dont know why it happens, but its annoying!

That's normal, it's caused by the hormones.  Don't worry about it.  I get the same thing.

Blame it on natural chemicals called prostaglandins, which are primarily responsible for the uterine contractions that help expel blood from your body. Prostaglandins also trigger contractions in your bowels, resulting in diarrhea -- particularly during the first few days of your flow

It is not an embarrassing question.  A lot of women or young women will get diarrhea as well as constipation during their period.

Make sure that you keep drinking a lot of water-it put volume in the blood which is needed during the monthly cycle.

Eat a lot of fruit, veg & fiber, even one banana would help.

I am also a big fan of very day use of acidophilus-5 billion -milk free with FOS. this will keep the balance of the digestive and intestinal tract of flora & fauna.

If you have diarrhea it would would a good idea to use a pad and not a tampon-for obvious reasons.  Good luck to you
