Not really answering, but some information on the setup in the Uk.

I coach rugby and am also involved in the Running of junior rugby (below 19yrs of age) at national level in Wales. We have a pathway, and it runs like this:~

Under (U) 8 tag rugby , mixed (boys & Girls)

U9 contact, mixed

U10 contact mixed

U11 contact mixed

U12 contact mixed OR girls can play ladies rugby which is up to 15yrs of age they can play both in the same season

U13 -U15 ladies rugby in one group from U12 to U15

U19 is the next group which covers ladies too old for the u15, but under19

Senior ladies. any age, and U18's can play senior.

Hope that helps give you a little insight, as that is pretty much the pathway we agreed with the IRB (International Rugby Board)

No idea about where you live, but I applaud the interest!! We need to get back at the sexist idiots who think we can't play (I play for my university team and we win more than the men's team!) I even met one taxi driver who said we should be at home arranging flowers! He did NOT get a tip.

i could tell you a WHOLLLLLEEEE bunch.....there's places all over....majorly in colleges, but there are also a few unions around, as well. If you are familiar with around the allentown area, theres a team in Bethlehem, the Molly McGuires.....and there's a bunch more around....just look at bigger "cities" around where you live to find them....If you add more details as to a more....specific location, and your age, maybe I could suggest better teams. If not, Best of luck!!! they are DEFINITELY in PA if you look for them....Also, USArugby.org may be of help :)
