What are some good tips on makeup for the 1st day of school.

my tip is if you mess up use moisturizer to remove it. it works like a charm.

Dont apply makeup to be too dramatic on the first day. barely there makeup is probably your best bet.

Choose moisturiser that suits you. You may alternate between a lighter cream in summer - even a gel for really humid days- and heavier cream for winter.

Eyeshadow is best applied with a small brush rather than the padded applicator supplied.A brush gives a sheer look and better application of colour, and avoids a 'drawn on' look.

Lip liner adds defintion to lips. Choose one that matches your lips exactly or is a shade darker. Fill in with lighter-coloured lipstick to give you preety, pouting lips.For extra pout, dab with gloss.

A very pale pinky-purple polish on fingernails will make you look more tanned, even if your skin has just a bit of golden colour.

The best-kept secert for eyebrows:

a brow pencil. Use a light, quick strokes of a freshly sharpened brow pencil, slightly darker than your brow colour, to define the shape.

Neutral colours would suit school best. try going for light browns and pale pinks. you could then just add a bit of liquid eyeliner for your top lash, some kohl liner for your waterline(lower lash) and just a touch or mascara for a lovely natural look. On your cheeks, just add a little bit of blusher. Start off from the middle of your cheekbone. Going upwards add a darker shade of blusher and going downwards add a lighter shade of blusher. Blend all of this in together in circular motions and you will look absolutely fab for you first day back! <3

try to go as simple as possible, with browns and lighter colors, then if your school ends up being really hot it wont get too gross looking and will still look good at the end of the day, and don't re-apply in the bathroom if the lights are florescent, you will end up applying too much and it will make you look like you are trying to hard
