reason i am asking i need to scrunch my hair while we go to the lake and hmm i have really thick stubborn hair how do you scrunch hair any way i have tryed before but it didnt look right whats the steps to doing your hair and what do you use in it oh ya i aint going to have a blow dryer there so

I have very thick hair as wel, my mother in law is a hair dresser and I have used every produt on the market. You will have to spend the $ and go to a salon and get a pomade (its in a silver container) Joico and then use Big s**y Hair Spray ... I also found out that Aussie (can be found in Walmart) Hair Scrunch works well with my curls.

Queen helena afro gel, i know it sounds weird but its $1,99 and it works 4543543TIMES better then the more expensive brands , it keeps hair from being frizzy and stops all fly aways. you can buy this gel in any bodega, deli type place and im sure CVS and drugstores carry it.

and hairspray FOCUS or FINAL.

section your hair andd scrunch eachh part individual, make sure you dont leave any sections dry so it is all even, dont apply to much unless your aiming for the hard crunchy look, it you just add a quater size amount andd work through your hair it will leave your curls bouncy and shiny

i use mouse for scrunching and its really good try KMS HAIR PLAY. my hair is really thick and stubborn and its works for me and i don't need to use a hair dryer. I HOPE THIS HELPS =]

use the gels and sprays from Redken Fresh Curls. trust me, Redken is an amazing salon brand which you can now find at Target!

also, to scrunch your hair, you just put the product in your hair and take a fistful of hair and just "crumble" it as you would crumble a piece of paper:)

Dont use gel, use moose to scrunch hair. For hairspray, use Garnier Fruitis Anti-Humidity Hairspray
