Because there are so many different shapes of the bewbs and shirts. Ever girl has different needs - shape, lift, support, etc. It's very very complicated.

Well. For personal preference.

Like, you can get an under-wire bra for more support

or one without under-wire, if you think that under-wire is uncomfortable.

Sports bra's for sports, for LOTS of support.

Push-up bras to look more "s**y"

Strapless if you are wearing a strapless shirt.

Different sized b*****s and also different needs such as sports or maternity or for girls just getting their b***s they need training bras. That's all. Other answers went into depth of the types but I've just said why we have them. You wouldn't wear a gumboots playing football now would you? No, you'd wear football boots. You wouldn't wear a sports bra with a strapless dress. See?

because every woman is shaped differently, and to add to that it depends what you are wearing on top of it: shirt, dress, strapless top....

Different bras work differently and provide different types of support.

The larger a woman's b*****s are, the more support she needs.

-Sports bras provide extra support for running and other exercise activities. They really pull you in tightly. I used to have trouble breathing in them until I got used to them. You guys think it's really hot when you see b*****s jiggling, but if you're a girl, you'll understand it hurts a lot!

-Push-Up/Water Bras are just to make b*****s look bigger and sexier.

-Under wire bras provide a little more support then regular bras, but they are often more uncomfortable.

Strapless- Usually for wearing strapless shirts/dresses. They usually have sticky glue on the inside to hold it up, and it doesn't work well for some women.

I know it probably sounds really complicated to men, but when you're a woman you can relate to it and understand it better. Hope I helped.
