GirlsONLY!!!! Is something wrong with me? I am thirteen and haven't started my period yet.?

I have all of the the hair and I have had b***s since third grade! I have all of the signs that I should have started ALREADY!!! They say after 2 or 3 years after having b***s you should start , it has been 5!!!!!! AM I NORMAL!!!!!?????

Yes, you are. It's hard to say when a girl will start. I know girls that were 15 when they did. You have an advantage. They said that the older you are when you start, the younger you'll be when you go through "the change". Less time with "Aunt Flo" may just be a blessing! It'll come soon enough!

Nothing is wrong with you, it is just taking time for your menses to appear.  Don't listen to what "they" say... normal puberty  can start as early as 9 years and as late as 17 years.  I have a sister who didn't begin her menses until she was 16.  So relax let nature take it's course, if you haven't started your menses by the time you're 18 then you should seen a gynocologist.  But for now be thankfull you don't bleed every month.

Yeah you are normal!

My friend was 15 when she finally got her period. I was 11. My friend's friend was 5 when she got her period!! (it's true, but she was put on medication)

Everyone starts differently. My mom didn't get her period at 11 like me. She got in around 13-14 years old.

Don't worry though! Because once you get, even if it's a good thing, it's a pain in the neck the first few months.

welll.. im 14 and i started mine when i was 12. but everyones different, so you dont need to worry. I know a girl whos 15 and still hasn't started hers. But dont worry im sure you'll start soon.

You perfectly normal, some girls start when they are 9 and some when they are 19. We are all different in our own way so just be thankful Mother Nature has not come knocking on your door.

Completely normal... not everyone starts at the same time.  Some girls can start as late as 17 (though it's not typical).  Just relax and enjoy the time that you don't have to deal with your period!

Of course you're normal, some people don't actually start their period until they're 17, try not to look on it as a bad thing, it's a good thing, the longer you have to wait the better in my opinion.

Your absolutely normal.I got my periods when i was 14...so its okay..you'll get it too....you shouldn't be that worried because your only 13 ..anyways they are really painful at times so you've got to stay cool now!

i know how you feel! i still haven't started my period and i am 13 i have had my b***s since like 4th grade and pubic hair since like 6th grade and discharge and stuff but yea idk why i still havent gotten my period!
