The Ligue 1 outfit could lose out on the services of Yoan Gouffran next summer the same way they lost the services of Marouane Chamakh when the striker left the club for free to join Arsenal FC
Back in September this year, Le Parisien claim that FC Girondins de Bordeaux striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Yoan-Gouffran-c37412 would be willing to extend his contract for just one year in a bid to give something back to a club that had extended his contract when he was injured.
His departure is almost certain for next summer but Bordeaux do not want such a good player leaving the aisles of Chaban Delmas as a free agent. However, as weeks and days pass, Gouffran is still under contract at the club until June 2013.
While talking to media just a few weeks back, the 26-year-old once again said that he would leave Bordeaux after the end of the current season. However, when asked about a possible contract extension in order to help the club recuperate some money, the striker
put another question mark on his future by saying that this is a question that should be asked of the club’s president, Jean-Louis Triaud.
It appears that there are still complications in the negotiations between the two parties meaning that Gouffran might not consider binding himself to Francis Gillot’s side as it might put his future transfer in serious jeopardy.
And, the same sentiment is shared by Triaud who is keen on ignoring this subject when confronted by a journalist. This issue is indeed a serious one as Les Girondins would not want to see another star player leave the Aquitaine region for nothing.
Almost two years back, Moroccan international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 FC. Furthermore, if no club makes an inquiry about Gouffran’s availability in the upcoming winter transfer
window, Bordeaux will have a déjà vu on their hands.
Since joining Bordeaux from Stade Malherbe de Caen in 2008 for 6.5 million euros, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Francis-c13946 Gillot’s plans for the future.
