Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud has gone on to claim that he is quite happy with the way he performed in the North London derby, and hopes for his performances to get even better in the near future.
Following his move to the Emirates from French Ligue 1 side, Montpellier, the powerful striker had gone on to be criticized by a host of people, with many claiming that he just wasn’t cut out to perform in the Premier League.
However, with him now having scored a very impressive seven goals for the team, and with his form improving significantly, it seems like it is only a matter of time before he proves to be the player that Arsene Wenger felt he could be.
When talking about his performance in his first ever North London derby, a very ecstatic Giroud is quoted to have said: "It's nice to have marked my territory in the north London derby"
"We needed to resume our progress up the table - especially since we recently lost points rather stupidly. It was the right time to have a great game.”
"We were good and we responded well after conceding the first goal.”
"For my part, individually speaking, I feel better and better in this team."

not be able to retain that spot.
The Gunners forward revealed that he was well aware of the fact that Lloris would play for Tottenham in goal during the game, but he also stated that despite him letting in so many goals, there is no questioning his ability and dedication to the teams he
represents.
"Hugo [Lloris] is a good friend," the forward continued. "He warned me that he would start the match and we greeted each other beforehand. He could not do much for the goals that we scored. It was hard for him.”
