Arsenals striker, Olivier Giroud has gone on to insist that Arsene Wenger is the ideal man to be in-charge of the Gunners, as the manager is responsible for the North London club being as big of a team as they are.
Over the last couple of years, the team has gone on to fall from grace, with a number of their top players leaving the team. At the same time, the club has gone seven years without winning a trophy, which is rather disappointing for a club of their stature.
Despite all of this, Giroud has insisted that there is no need for anyone to panic just yet, since things aren’t half as bad as they are making them out to be.
He also claimed that no one else could help the team better than Wenger can.
"If http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are where they are, if they are known around the world, it's thanks to [Wenger]”
"There are no worries. Everyone owes him a lot of faith. He's the man for the situation."
He then went on to talk about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thierry-Henry-c34918 who has been training with the club during his off season from the MLS. The player is rumoured to be certain to join the team as part of a loan deal in the winters, but for the time being, nothing had really been
confirmed as yet.
When talking about Henry, and the possibility of him joining the team, Giroud is reported to have said: "Henry is training with us. He's training with the group during the close season. I'm not going to make myself heard on the subject - it's not me who
does the recruitment for the team.”
"Henry is a great player and if he can bring something with him, then it's good for everyone. He has been good. We'll see how it goes. I'm not aware of all this."
At the moment, it seems like Wenger is certain to stay at the club till the end of the season. At the same time, Henry and his future at Arsenal have not been talked about by the team, and as a result it is going to be a wait to see just how that transfer
plays out.
