Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud is set to miss http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899’s upcoming World Cup qualifier against Finland, as the striker seems to be suffering from a knock.
The striker went on to play for Arsenal in their three opening fixtures to the season, but it seems like those appearances have taken a toll on the striker.
It is believed that he is suffering from a muscular strain, which is forcing him to stay sidelined for the next couple of days.
Despite him being certain to miss the game against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Belarus-c2849.
When talking about the towering striker, the French manager is quoted to have said: “He will work apart [from the squad], which will allow him to play the next match [against Belarus].”
“Considering it’s a muscle problem, it is better to give him more time. I would have preferred Olivier at full fitness, but [football] is like that.”
So far, Giroud hasn’t been able to replicate the goal scoring form that he displayed in the French Ligue 1, which got him reputed for being one of the best strikers in the land.
He has been actively participating in everything that the team does on the pitch, but for some odd reason, he just can’t seem to find the back of the net.
Given the fact that it is his first season with the team, and considering the level that the Premier League takes place at, any player would find it hard to adjust and adapt to life in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 almost instantaneously.
As a result, it is going to be interesting to see just how the striker performs over the coming months, once he slowly starts growing into the Arsenal mould.
Should Giroud go on and actually play for France against Belarus, a positive performance in that game could help him gain his confidence and come back strong to play for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429.
All in all, it is going to be a wait till next weekend to see just how the striker is feeling and if he manages to find his goal scoring form again.
