The Director General of the Serie A Champions has reiterated his belief in the club’s manager, and stated that Conte would remain as the manager of the Serie A outfit.
The coach of the Turin outfit has come under hot waters after investigative proceedings have brought on allegations against him and his sporting staff. The coaching team at the Juventus Arena who are alleged to have prior knowledge
of the fixed matches in the Serie B are Antonio Conte, Angelo Alessio and Christian Stellini.
The two other people at Juventus who are involved in the Scommessopoli match fixing scandal are Simone Pepe and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Leonardo-Bonucci-c22064. The Juventus defender is accused of the more serious allegation of sporting fraud and rumours are
suggesting that the player might be banned for three years.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Simone-Pepe-c33591 and Antonio Conte’s coaching team was cleared of charges levied against them of sporting fraud, but the prosecutor in the investigations stated that the personnel had prior knowledge of the match being fixed and that
they failed to notify the appropriate authorities.
Beppe Marotta was talking to the press over the allegations and was deeply saddened by the accusations, and stated that the men were honourable and would not intentionally bring any disrepute to the game. He went on to state:
“There is deep bitterness at seeing our members brought into the situation, as they are very professional and fair, so we believe in their good faith.”
The Juve chief went on to state the club’s commitment and faith in Antonio Conte by remarking that they were content with him, and intend on keeping him at the club for the foreseeable future. He also gave his backing to the former
Siena head coach by stating that they would work around any suspension or ban levied against him.
He further went on to state:
“We have handed the reins to Conte, we’re happy with him and he will be Juventus Coach now and in future, regardless of the outcome of the sentence. We will find a solution.”
The Director General of the club was talking to the press on the presentation ceremony of the Serie A fixtures for the upcoming season.
