The former Manchester United man has been linked with a move away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, and speculation has increased after Villarreal’s performances this season.
They have been toying with relegation for most of the season and even though the attacker has remained loyal to the club for quite a long time, it seems that the forward would finally be moving away from
Villarreal.
The agent of the Italian international has made it clear that Rossi is interested in a move to Internazionale, however he has also stated about his preference for UEFA Champions League football.
The striker has been out of contention for selection due to his injuries, which have come at a bad time for the player given the looming European Championships. Interest has been reported from a wide array
of suitors for the left-footed striker, however his agent stressed that his client is fully devoted to recovering in time.
“Unfortunately this has been a negative season for Giuseppe due to the injury that ruled him out. At the moment he is concentrated exclusively on his recovery and maybe we’ll see him play in the last few
Liga games.”
Federico Pastorello was being interviewed by Sky Sport Italia and he mentioned Rossi’s commitment to Villarreal, but also suggested that his client always dreamt of playing for a big club. He was quoted to
have said:
“Giuseppe really cares about Villarreal and in the past rejected important offers, but he has never hidden the fact his dream is to play for a top club. Inter? We do consider them a top club, but he’d like
to play in the Champions League and match himself against the best. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’d turn the Nerazzurri down, though.”
