The Villarreal striker’s representative has stated that the long-term injury of the Italy forward will only serve to lower his transfer price, but maintains that his client remains a valuable talent.
Giuseppe Rossi’s agent has encouraged interested clubs to bid for the Villarreal star, and insisted that the injury of the striker has only sweetened the deal for prospective buyers.
The Spanish side were relegated from Spanish Premiere League in the 2011-12 campaign, and many of the club’s stars are expected to leave the outfit in the summer transfer window.
The former Parma striker is set to remain out of action for the rest of the ongoing year, after suffering another knee ligament injury in April.
Rossi’s agent admitted that the Villarreal goal-scorer will not return to the field of play until the end of the year, but stated that the striker’s condition has a lot to do with his sub-standard operation in Valencia.
The Italy forward’s agent stated that the injury concerns will only serve to make the transfer deal even more lucrative for the interested clubs, and stressed that despite the injury, the Submarino Amarillo striker continues to
be the same promising talent.
The Submarine player’s spokesperson insisted that whoever approaches Villarreal for a transfer will have the option to lower the market valuation, and get an attractive price.
While talking to the press, Federico Pastorello said:

Pastorello stated that the buyers must look at Rossi as a long-term investment, and admitted that the option to buy the player comes with a cost.
The Villarreal striker’s agent stated that he is confident that he will be approached by a club offering such a deal, and insisted that all he has to do is wait for the call to come.
